Born in Korea, adopted, & raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I’m on a mission to help people feel better & live life on purpose.
My approach is compassionate, practical, & rooted in science. I take the ‘woo’ out of wellness & empower you to transform the thoughts, beliefs, & patterns that hold you back.
But it wasn’t always this way.
I’ve been a leader, motivator, & coach for as long as I can remember. But for decades, I was living someone else’s dream. Doing work that left me feeling empty, coping with stress & anxiety in all the wrong places, yearning for something more.
Then, on MLK Day in 2008 - I survived a nasty, racist assault that shattered my jaw, health, & happiness into pieces. Little did I know that moment would change the trajectory of my life for the best.
But it wasn’t until 2020 - after twelve years of deep healing - that it all came into focus: I deserve to live a happy, healthy, & deeply meaningful life. And you know what? So does my perpetrator. And you know what else? So do you.
We all do.
So I summoned all of the strength, courage, & tools at my disposal and decided to trust my gut and pursue my lifelong dream of helping others like me - & perhaps like you.
Faced with two choices: remain suffering or make a plan for change, I chose the latter - and you can too.

A transformational coach with a national board-certification, I’m trained in & study the nature & science of human behavior, change, motivation, & what makes up our mindset.
My approach is rooted in evidence, supported by science, & proven to support lasting transformation.
Some of the fancy acronyms include: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Seligman's Positive Psychology, Transtheoretical Model of Change (TTM), Self-Determination Theory (SDT), & Lifestyle Medicine to name a few.
I also draw on 15+ years of studying & teaching the ancient arts of yoga, meditation, & mindfulness - to provide you with actionable steps you can start taking today.
When it comes to change, it’s not up to me to direct your goals or tell you what to do - we know through the research that doesn’t work.
So what does?
A deeper connection to your own motivations - not what your partner, parents, or social media’s pushing on you.
Having a safe, empathetic, & non-judgmental container to transform the limiting or negative thoughts, beliefs, & patterns that hold you back.
Choosing for yourself that it’s time to act.
